With a picture ledge (this one is only £9 from Ikea), you can change the look quickly & easily with fabric or wallpaper samples, old calendar images or just about anything! You don’t have to spend a fortune to make a wall look unique. Use a small chalk board to leave messages for your house mates….or as your children grow and bring home more artwork, just swap the pictures over and re-arrange the display. Keep picture frames small or medium if you want to overlap them, as the larger prints are more likely to topple. Mix up the frame colours and designs to keep it interesting and you don’t need expensive ones to create an impact!
